Weekend Recap

Friday:  I woke up feeling achy and just not so great.  I felt a it better in the afternoon but by the time I got home I was wiped.  Alexander was a doll and went out and bought me some soup and gingerale.  We had plans to do grocery shopping Friday night but we stayed in and watched The House Bunny and a couple tv episodes Alexander downloaded.

Saturday:  We had plans to go check out the Titanic exhibit and the Space and Science Centre but once we finally got up and going it was late so we decided to check out a matinee of Arthur Christmas (Cute!).  We also had plans to check out Ice on Whyte Saturday night but when we got out of the theatre it was snowing and foggy so instead we went out with our friends Andy and Susan for Nachos. 

Sunday:  Up bright and early to hit Costco before the rush to buy groceries and to drop Alexanders car off to look at the tire.  While his car was being worked on we stopped off at the Dollar Store to buy some aluminum take out containers (I want to start making big meals and freezing half so when there is a night I don’t want to cook I can just pop something pre-made into the oven) and at Mornas house to pick up a foamy because Jill was flying in and spending the night before heading to her new job in Fort Mac.  We got home and cleaned up the house and set up Jills bed.  At 5:30pm we left to go pick up Jill at the airport and then had dinner at Moxie’s.  We came back and just chilled and caught up with Jill before heading to bed. 

We would have hit Ice on Whyte this week but it has been crazy cold.  This weekend we will for sure check out the Titanic exhibit.  If we don’t make plans (heck, even if we do have plans) we are usually lazy on the weekends and we don’t do anything or plans change.  Sometimes that is nice but we need to get out more!  Once we have a house we will have yard stuff to do.
