The Week Before

No matter how much I tried to get stuff done for the wedding early, I was still super busy and stressed the week before we left; running errands and packing. Our house ended up in shambles (it still is!) and we had a number of late nights. Two girls at work are planning destination weddings and they kept asking me if I was excited and I can honestly say I got a little excited Friday and Saturday but mainly I wanted the work week to be over (oh why oh why did I work the full week?) and I wanted packing to be over and done with and not forget anything and I just really wanted to be on that plane headed to Mexico so I could relax.

*The only reason I can remember everything we did during the week is because I was freaking out at work and made a big long list of things we needed to do and when*

Monday, November 21

  • Dentist appointment at 3:30pm

  • After dentist hit Londonderry mall:

    • Bring in shorts to be taken in

    • Buy hair clips

  • Drop off Epicure in St. Albert for a party I had the week before

  • Hit WEM to buy Pesos

Tuesday, November 22

  • Stay late at work to make up leaving early Monday

  • Eyebrow and underarm waxing at 5pm

  • Dinner at parents

  • Wash swim suites at parents place

  • Drop off clothes to donate

  • Use Treasured Memories Groupon before it expires

Wednesday, November 23

  • Head to St. Albert after work to use a Groupon (wasn’t anything I liked so it was a waste of time!)

  • Wash clothes

Thursday, November 24

  • Go with Alexander to his haircut at 5:30pm to make sure it looks good *grin*

  • Drop of Pesos we bought to Morna

  • Buy kitty food and litter

  • Superstore

Friday, November 25

  • Hair colour at 5pm

  • Work on play list for wedding

  • Pack

  • Save On Foods for dinner

Saturday, November 26

  • Work on play list some more

  • Burn CD’s

  • Pick up dress (before 4pm!)

  • Lunch at a burger place

  • Nails at 5pm

  • Finish up packing

Now that everything is over I realize I didn’t need to be so worried or stressed. Everything turned out fantastic!
