Weekend Recap

Friday:  We were supposed to go to the Corn Maze with Lisa and Ryan but poor Lisa got stuck at work late so it was a relaxing evening at home.

Saturday:  Glorious sleeping in!  Every weekend I tell myself I am going to get up early and be productive but every weekend sleep wins.  Early afternoon we moseyed out and ran a few errands (I picked up my KI Memories paper and embellishments Lisa ordered through 2 Peas.  Yippee!  It is so sad no local stores carry it. Thanks again Lisa!).  After relaxing at home for a bit we headed off with Dan and Morna to the Corn Maze.  At first it was a wee bit chilly but after walking around for a bit it wasn’t bad.  There were a bunch of teenagers running around being nuisances and hiding in the corn and throwing stuff at people but they got kicked out.  I would have liked to have stayed longer but it started really raining and got super cold so we left and warmed up at Tims (where we messed up the floor with our muddy shoes from walking in the Corn Maze.  Oops).

 

 

 

 

Sunday:  Again, sleep won.  Early afternoon we headed out to the Disney Store to pick up the Halloween Vinylmation set (not that I didn’t buy enough in Disneyland….).  In the evening we headed out and had dinner with my parents.  We came home and watched CSI Miami.  I only wanted CSI Miami because of Horatio Caine (and his awful one liners) but I wasn’t super impressed with the episode that I think I’ll cross CSI Miami off my list completely.
