Weekend Recap

Weekends go by oh so quickly.  I know I always say it but it is true! 

Friday: By the time I got off work I was pooped (the big breakfast for lunch I had at Cora's may have been the culprit..).  I almost couldn't keep my eyes open during my short 12 minute commute home.  Did I take a nap though?  Nope I surfed the interweb catching up on the days events (internet is super duper restricted at work).  A little before 7pm Alexander and I headed to the cheap theatre and caught Super 8.  It was an okay movie.  The first half of the movie was good, very suspenseful (I startled a few times and poor Alexanders hand got squeezed a lot).  After we got home Alexander met up with some friends for drinks and I decided to stay home because I wanted to go to bed early but I ended up staying up watching Grey's Anatomy.

Saturday:  I super slept in and when I finally woke up I had a huge headache.  I spent the early afternoon taking it easy while Alexander was out helping friends move.  Later in the afternoon we took a nice walk in Rundle Park enjoying the weather.  After the walk we got a few groceries and spent a nice evening at home and watched Ted Danson on CSI Las Vegas (I like him way better than Laurence Fishburne!).

Sunday: Was up bright and early to take advantage of the free day at Fort Edmonton Park.  We picked up Darcy and Ee and made it to Fort Ed by the time they opened at 10am.  It was a beautiful day!  I hadn't been to Fort Ed in eons so it was nice to walk around and enjoy the weather.  We were able to catch a movie in the new theatre (I didn't think it was that great but everyone else enjoyed it).  I only took 8 pictures, I’ll have to get the rest from Ee as she was the picture taking machine *grin* After Fort Ed we hit Red Robins for lunch and then we dropped off Darcy and Ee.  On the way home I was super tiered but by the time I got home and moving again I was fine so I re-designed my blog and spent the evening relaxing.
