So on Wednesday (September 28) Alexander and I celebrated our one year engagement-versary *grin* Once we are married (2 months people!) we will only celebrate one date but before that happens it is nice to recognize special dates in our relationship. I ended up going out during lunch and buying a box of chocolate dipped strawberries with mixed toppings from Edible Arrangements and picking up 3 love/anniversary helium balloons from the “dollar” store near work. Alexander had to attend the annual general meeting for the condo so we ate the chocolate strawberries after he got home and while watching Terra Nova.
Plans for the wedding are coming along. I’m just trying to stay cool and just go with the flow and I keep reminding myself that only I will know if something goes wonky while in Mexico and to just enjoy the time I will have with family and friends. This time in 2 months we will be enjoying our reception on the beach! Below is a dress that I won’t be wearing in Mexico. I like the top of the dress but the bottom was just blah and it was way too shiny for me! Speaking for dresses, mine should be in hopefully this week! I am excited to try it on again and see how it looks with the jewellery and shoes I purchased.
