Friday: Alexander was in meetings in Medicine Hat and Lethbridge Thursday and Friday so we just chilled at home Friday evening when he got home. He picked up some corn from Taber while he was driving through so we had that for dinner. I actually scrapbooked! Only one page but it still felt good!

Saturday: We were up earlier than normal to go to talk to my Great Uncle about getting a matching wedding band made for my ring. Unfortunately it was over the price I was willing to pay. We went home and made a nice chicken caesar for lunch and just chilled. Then we had to unhook our beautiful cable boxes and return them to Shaw because our promotion was done. It’s okay really because we waste too much time watching crap and all the shows are online anyways. Then we headed to West Ed to see *NAME OF PLAY* at Jubilations with Morna and Alexander’s friend Dan. It was pretty good. They sang Beatles songs. We always have a good time when we go to a Jubilations play.
Sunday: Lazy, lazy morning! We headed out briefly early in the afternoon to pick up a few things from the dollar store to jazz up Alexander’s cousins birthday gift. We did a date night/movie night out package. I really should have taken a picture of it because it was so cute! We bought a red and white stripped popcorn container from the dollar store and filled it with yellow tissue paper (for popcorn) and added a few chocolate bars and then put in a gift certificate to see a movie and a gift card to a restaurant. We also added in a mickey head Christmas ornament we bought last year when we were in Disneyworld with her name on it. I made a cute little tag and added a bow and voila something a little more special (and cute!) than just a gift card thrown into a card. We spent the evening at Alexander’s Uncles house sitting outside enjoying the beautiful weather. His Uncle cooked steaks and we had ice cream cake for dessert. Yum!
