Thursday was my half birthday. Unless you plug it into a Half Birthday Calculator then Friday was my actual half birthday. Thursday I had to work (boo!) but they threw a BBQ for my half birthday. Ha ha ha. Not. It was a just because BBQ but I can pretend it was for me *grin* After work I met up with Ee and we walked down to a gelato place and discussed engagement photos. On my way home I stopped by the Disney Store to pick up a present for myself, some new Vinylmations! It is so sad and depressing because here in Canada we have only like 3 collections but they are releasing and have released a billion collections in the Parks that we just don’t get. I have a love hate relationship with Vinylmations. I love the fact that most of them are a secret and you don’t know which one you have gotten until you have opened the box but on the other hand I have bad luck and I have a few doubles of ones I already had sitting at home waiting to be taken back to a park traded for new ones. At least I can trade them! I bought one from the Robot collection and one from the Cutesters collection.
I got the doughnut Vinylmation and the front robot in teal.
When I got home after the stop at the Disney Store Alexander had just gotten home from his trip to Calgary and he brought me home an ice cream log from DQ! Yummy! What a nice way to end my half birthday!
Friday I had to work again (double boo!). Fridays at work are pretty quiet, I pulled into the parking lot and there were actually lots of spots available (usually I have to park on the road). After work I headed down to Whyte Ave as I had an appointment to get my hair trimmed just a wee bit (still trying to grow it out long!) and coloured (getting ready for engagement photos!).
All in all it was a pretty good half birthday! *grin*
